About Us

Better Seed Better Yield

Since 2021, E&E Green Farms has proudly held RICA licensing, guaranteeing quality-verified seeds.

We monitor disease and pest resistance to ensure optimal crop performance in our partners’ fields.

Rooted in sustainability through smart crop rotation, we specialize in the following crops.

Maize

Maize is Rwanda’s third largest crop, predominantly cultivated by smallholder farmers. This versatile crop is a staple in local diets and serves as a key ingredient in various food products, contributing to food processing and animal feed industries.

Soybeans

Soybeans, rich in protein, are improving livelihoods in Rwanda by addressing food insecurity and malnutrition, as highlighted by the Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB). The crop also enhances soil fertility.

High-Iron Beans

Rwandans boast the world’s highest per capita bean consumption. High-iron beans are indispensable forms of nutrition for households, providing households with 32% of the required calories and an impressive 65% of protein across the nation.

We are driven by goals

E&E Green Farms work closely with co-operatives to enhance agricultural productivity. The map below highlights the regions where we support local farmers in achieving our shared goals:

Improving Crop Productivity: Increase yields for maize, soybeans, high-iron beans

Enhancing Seed Access: Provide high-quality seeds to 2,000-5,000 farmers per season

Empowering Youth & Women: Create jobs through inputs, market access, and value addition
